Unhappy People Watch More TV

A recent study has found that unhappy people watch much more television than happy people.

The research has found that  happy people socialize more, read more newspaper and have more sex but watch less television. Those who are unhappy watch up to 30 percent more televisions than happy people. The study has been done in University of Maryland discovered.

The study included 30000 people who were subjected to analysis of their social habits. The study has spanned between 1975 and 2006. The study has been recently reported inn Telegraph

TV may provide viewers with short-run pleasure, but at the expense of long-term malaise.

The researchers have also taken into account short term happiness. It might mean that  while TV in general is a waste of time and not particularly enjoyable, the shows I saw tonight were pretty good,” Robinson said in an interview.

How To Feel Good About Yourself?

It happened to you more than once to meet a person and before getting to actually know the person, to realize that you simply couldnt get along well with him or her, no matter how hard you tried.

There are a lot of ancient believes, which say that people we simply cant stand, reflect, in fact, a bad or weak point of our own personality, which we totally dislike. If you dislike about yourself the fact that you are afraid to speak in public and you are making efforts to change that, you will probably despise people who have the same problem that you do.

However, once you solve your problem, your feelings towards that person, might turn into pity and you might find yourself trying to help that person. It occurs because your internal milieu has changed which in turn reflects a change in your external behaviour. Read more

Prey of Convenience

We as human beings are quite a victim of convenience. As a rule we wan comfort. I am not talking about the physical comfort here.

We get used to our surroundings and we often resist changes. Whether right or wrong,we often become slaves to our surroundings and the change irks us.

Change is the law of nature.

Resisting it would make life onlyuncomfortable
